Email us

Jazz Oracle is a CD label specializing in issuing jazz, hot dance, and personality recordings from the 1920s and 1930s. We pride ourselves on superb productions utilizing transfers from the best available copies of original records, remastered by John R.T. Davies, recognized as the premier vintage audio engineer in the world today. The full colour booklets feature extensive notes written by experts in their field, along with photographs of the featured musicians, often published for the first time. All booklets contain complete discographical information, personnels, and recording dates.

Since its inception in 1994, Jazz Oracle has built a comprehensive catalogue. This has been made possible through the cooperation of many record collectors throughout the world. This circle of collectors continues to grow, and allows us to continue to preserve these recordings. We welcome the involvement of fellow enthusiasts who can contribute access to source recordings, liner notes, and ephemera. If you'd like to help, click on Help Wanted, where details of some of the records we are looking for are listed.
